20/21 Feb. 1945 - Target: Dortmund, Enemy a/c: Ju-88. Lanc crew - W-Op killed.
MU-AG wounded, R-AG turret became U/S as "no pressure to firing gear".
Some members of crew 152 were of American Nationality; prior to their 434 squadron posting it is believed they trained and possibly flown Op’s with F/L John Worthington Harder in another squadron. He was an American citizen and later transferred to RAF 64 Squadron as a fighter pilot, John was shot down and captured over Normandy in July 1944.
