F/O Douglas Thicke was flying 2'nd Dickey with Evans crew 56, this a/c crashed returning from a mission to Heligoland on 18/19 March 1944, all were killed.

The Thicke crew was then left without a pilot, 3 crew members became part of the Parrot crew 140.
