Fraser, the best place to start is with Archives Canada. Go to "RESEARCH DOCUMENTS" on the right hand columb of Alan's website.Select and print a copy of the Geneology form. Fill it out as complete as possible, make sure you check box marked "Genealogy Package" and "Other" (add "Looking for any Photos"). Also check "Family History". Fax to # on form, some responces within 2-3 weeks, some longer. This package is free and can contain some great info.
