Crew Inquiries > Crew # 63

I am interested in finding anyone who knew my uncle W/O JW Donnelly (WAG) who was a member of the 434 Squadron. He and his crew were shot down on the return leg of a raid over Leipzig on February 19/20 1944. Other members of his crew were: F/O Broadfoot, Bomb Aimer; Sgt. Mac Gregor, Upper Gunner; F/O Murray, Pilot; Sgt A. Pearce,Tail Gunner; F/O Haytor, Navigator; and Sgt. Jim Dove, Engineer. You will find pictures of the entire crew and my uncle in the photo gallery on this site. I would be interested to know what life was like for Uncle Bill during his stay in Croft and what he was like as a person. I never knew him, just have the thoughts of my other aunts and uncles.. would like to know what others thought of him.
Thank you for any help. Trish Cooke (Neice)
