Crew Inquiries > Crew 17 and 20
Hi Alain, I can't help with a crew 20 photo but I do have a couple of one of the crew, Sgt William Benzie Forbes Climie, my cousin. They were taken during leave home to his family in Staten Island, USA. Bill had migrated from Scotland to the USA in 1923 with his mum and dad when a baby and when WWII broke out, since the American authorities banned their citizens from going over to the UK to fight, Bill went over the border to Canada and joined the RCAF.
If they are useful to you let me know.
What's your interest by the way?
Cheers
Tony
Hello Tony ,
Thank you very much for your reply. Sorry that ik took so long before i could answer you. The reason why i'm interessed in this crew is that i'm doing some amateur research on the former allied cemetery on the airfield of St-Trond ( St-Truiden in Dutch ) Belgium were your cousin was buried. A picture of your cousin would be great , that will fill in another gap in my research.
