I have F/O Reynolds medals (DFC, 39/45 star, ACE with F/G bar, DM and WM). Also there are 2 photos of him together with an un named FLT pilot. Let me know if you like me to post them?

Hello Rob,
I know you have sent me an email in the past, but I can't find it, Sorry.
The photo's would be much appreciated, scanned is usually best at 200-300 dpi and send as original, do not down size as the properties defeat the large dpi. Any written material on F/O Reynolds would also be welcome.
Send to the "contact me" on the navigation bar near bottom.
Thanks, Alan

I am Gerard Reynolds daughter ( 1947). My mother and he were divorced when I was about 11. I would appreciate some information about him as I've been trying to find any relatives. I know he died in 1985. Would love to see medal and photos.

F/O Donald McGavin, Navigator, with Squadron 434 wrote a story to his family of his experiences. In it he wrote, " On May 8 we were posted to the Aircrew Battle Training School at Dalton in Yorkshire... At Dalton, an event took place which affected very fundamentally the remainder of our Air Force careers - we met and crewed up with Squadron Leader Paul Blackburn. "Blackie", as he became known to us familiarly, came from Nova Scotia and had served on a Coastal Defence Squadron in Canada. He was married and had one child. He did not yet have a crew, and so our crewing up with him was an obvious and fortutitous union. He was a superb Pilot. He took off, flew and landed the aircraft to perfection. By nature he was a quiet man.
At Dalton we also added a Flight Engineer to our crew, Jerry Reynolds, an Englishman. He was very competent and had completed one tour of operations. His experience was a real plus for the remainder of the crew.".

This story contains a couple of crew pictures with Jerry, F/O G. Reynolds, Engineer and a reproduction of a Target Token signed & dated 12-9-44 for Target, Dortmund, listing F/O Reynolds as part of the crew. Will forward these to Alan shortly.
