Crew Inquiries > 2nd Lieut. J.T. Clary (Pilot)

J.T. Clary and his 434 crew were shot down on an op to Bochum on Sept. 29/30, 1943. He managed to evade capture and came back to visit the squadron in early December 1943. Does anyone know his first name? Many thanks.

Brian,
I have Clary's Esc/Ev file somewhere among my collection, i'll look it up later. But i have him as T.J and not J.T, and the "J" is for Jackson. If you can email me at alpol.wells@btinternet.com i will scan the file and send to you.

Brian,

Lt. Clary was my uncle Jackson Temple Clary. It is definitely JT, not TJ

Dear all,

Three years ago I did a individual research on this perticular crash. The Halifax V with the Jackson Clary crew crashed in the woods on a few kilometers away from where I live. I got interested in this crash due to the fact that my grandfather was an eyewitness of this accident. On the moment I got in contact again to Brenda Clary-Bailey.
Are there any photos of the crew and/or aircraft available via the internet?

If you have any questions or comments, dont hesitate to contact.

Thanks to all who replied to my query back in October. The information that I requested (T.J. Clary's full name) is all I really need for my purposes, which is to note a significant event at Tholthorpe on December 8/43 when Mr. Clary paid a visit to the Officer's Mess.
