"Search Site" and photo submissions...
Hello,
In the past couple weeks I received a number of photo's; P/O T. Gooden - crew 97 (individual), Sgt. Jim Dove - crew 63 (individual and crew photo) thanks to relatives of these crew for submitting.
When viewing the crew 63 photo you will see a second photo (left), this has given me the idea of adding additional crew photos of the same crew if in my posession and in a different pose, or incomplete crew.

Added a "Search Site" located near top of navigation bar, this will hopefully locate any serial number, crew, individual etc... in this site. However it will not search the "Personnel/Crew Downloads" (Adobe/Excel Spreadsheets).
I have noticed "Google" search engine has been indexing names in the "Adobe Pdf" spreadsheet.
As I now have digitized squadron ORB's, I can start the long tedious task of correcting spelling errors on surnames, keep this in mind when using search engine. Your best bet is downloading the Adobe spreadsheet and spelling the surname with a few errors if unsuccessful with correct spelling.
Till the next update, take care, Alan
Combat Reports reformatting, Groundcrew- Sgt. MacLellan
Hello,
Process of adding a lot of info to the "Combat Reports..." section, in fact I had to reformat. Now updating information slowly from combat reports I have, and trying to cross reference with ORB's and other sites, this will be ongoing.

Navigating this site
Any folder with + symbol: example... "434 Gallery Folder" +" the folder when clicked on takes you to a page with a "table of contents" with descriptions for each chapter in that folder.
Once you have read each description you can make choices...
1 (easiest) - Click on the "+" sign located on the right side of folder... example "434 Gallery Folder +" in the navigation bar. This will create a drop down menu of all the chapter's for that folder. Choose a chapter, once viewing pages click the numbers at the top of each photo to take you through the chapter.
2 - You can only get to the table of contents by clicking on folder name
The navigation bar is always visible on the right of every page throughout this web site.
"Victories (Claims)" & photos
The past month I have been going through 434 files from digitized microfilm, sorting into categories. One folder now contains at least 20 combat reports from this I will be updating "Victories (Claims)" section to include all combat reports, however it will be readers digest version of encounters with the Luftwaffe.
So far the following crews were engaged by enemy fighters...
Henry Crew 129, Rothenbush Crew 139, Hall Crew 143, *Andres Crew 137, Wagman Crew 115, Purnell Crew 145, Coulter Crew 118, Fern Crew 151, Cameron Crew 152, Buttle Crew 132, Kitchen Crew 144, Dawson Crew 160, Hawes Crew 156, Isenberg Crew 114, Coghlan Crew 141, Wild Crew 163, Yuill Crew 147, Hess Crew 167.
*replacement A/G’s from other crews.
I know there are more combat reports/crews other then the above listed.
As well in the past I have recieved emails with concerns of submitting photo's, all I ask is the photo be scanned at 200 dpi minimum, with a brief description (biography if an individual) included.
