Sgt. Charlie Sparks, LAC Herb Woods

Sgt. Charlie Sparks of Vancouver B.C. watches the work of a fellow-townsman, LAC Herb Woods, instrument mechanic also from Vancouver B.C. Sparks is N.C.O. in charge of the ground crew for aircraft. She has flown over enemy territory on 43 trips, and some of the credit for her longevity goes to the careful work of her ground crew as well as to the courage and skill of the aircrew.
