"V-Vic" Maintenance
Perched on the wing, LAC Bill Janson looks for bugs in the Halifax’s starboard outer motor. He is an aero-engine mechanic and left a Saskatchewan farm to enlist in the Air Force. At 26 LAC Janson has acquired a skill in a highly specialized trade which will stand him in good stead in civilian life. Right now his main concern is to keep “V-Vic” flying as often as needed.
