Pilot Officer Donald Duck, DFM is pictured in the foreground ABOVE with three of his crewmates of the RCAF Bomber Group “Bluenose” squadron, after a recent highly successful sortie over France. He is mascot of the crew “D – Donald” and has worked his way up through the ranks by dint of completing 24 bombing operations, including three trips to Berlin. Donald is the product of the handiwork of a niece of P/O Frank Holmes (right) of Huddersfield, England.
