Squadron leader Eric Hockey, Kentville, N.S. is pictured above (left) with his navigator, F/O Jack Fergusen of Regina, Sask. While awaiting interrogation after returning from raiding Mannheim. Both are members of the RCAF Bomber Group’s Bluenose Squadron, which is commanded by W/C C.E. Harris of Annapolis Royal, N.S.

It was the tenth trip over Germany for both and they reported that after this attack fires were visible for more than 100 miles.

Crew 3 Piloted by S/Ldr Eric Hockey “FTR” from an “Op” to Berlin 28/29 Jan. 1944, the entire crew became POW’s.
