Using aircraft identification models to illustrate how German night fighters carried out attacks against their four-engined bombers, these five Canadians teel quite a dramatic tale. Members of various crews operating Halifaxes in the Iorquois and Bluenose Squadrons of the Canadian bomber group overseas, these boys have just returned from the heavy attack on Kassel.
An unidentified rear-gunner from New Toronto, Ont: F/Sgt. J.H. “Sharpy” Keane, Orono, Ont., pilot; F/OW.L. “Red” Roberts, Ingersoll, Ont., airbomber; F/Sgt. W.H. O’Gorman, 21 Baker St., Sudbury, Ont., navigator; Sgt. W.L. Kunkel, Cargill, Ont., midupper gunner.
