Clair's girlfriend "Soi"

The crew now have nine missions complete, they require a total of 30 to go on leave back to Canada. Clair managed to write two letters the same day.

Dear Rose, and All

I just scared a couple of envelopes out of Mike, so I will send you a couple of pictures of the crew. There was a great argument here about why I should have these envelopes when Mike wants them himself. I can’t imagine how I got them, but I guess you and Soi will be getting a picture or two. They aren’t very good of the guys but they will do. Jack and Mike have sort of corny looks on their faces, and Mikes hat is always where it happens to land. Ken is a Flight Sgt., but he is now a W/O, hope you like it.

Cliff is out roaming the country somewhere tonight. Mike is here trying his best to answer some of the 50 letters that he hasn’t for sometime. That is about all.
