Forced to “hit the silk” over England after their aircraft had been shot up by predicted flak from enemy’s defences the three Canadians shown in the above picture from the Bluenose squadron of the RCAF Bomber Group in England are shown talking over their experiences. It was during a recent attack on Berlin that their aircraft ran short of petrol on the way home and the entire crew bailed out.
